[ dabble ] Interfaith Amigos

This is honestly not the start of a bad joke…

An Imam, A Rabbi and a Pastor walk onto a stage…

…and start talking on interfaith understanding. No punchline sorry, but the clip below does have quite a few funnies in it as the three religious leaders from different faiths grapple with one of the biggest lines we use to separate ourselves – religion.

Unfortunately we don’t have to look far to find examples of crazy bad stuff carried out in the name of religion. The creation of “others” simply by the fact they don’t belong to a certain religious group separates people on a global level, and also on an individual level. The interfaith dialogue presented by Imam Jamal Rahman, Rabbi Ted Falcon, and Pastor Don Mackenzie is a timely example of religions focusing on the bigger ideas they have in common rather than colliding on the obvious things that divide them.
