[ water for workers ] June & 100K

The month of Ramadan is nearly upon us, but right before that kicks off we're sneaking in a Water for Workers adventure on Saturday 13th June, and reaching one massive milestone.

If every bottle of water and facecloth is given out on the 13th, then the total of all water given over the 3 years of Water for Workers will hit ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND.
Maybe it's more impressive writing it as 100,000. Whichever way, it's a big number, and one we are incredibly proud of, especially considering what's been given out with that water - thank you's, smiles, handshakes, conversations, and so many good human moments.

Join us for some Hot.Sweaty.Fun, help us hit 100,000, and share some sameness all over Dubai:

And if you've never taken part in Water for Workers before, don't worry, it's super easy and is all explained below:

WHAT DO I DO?
- You come in your own transport* to Collegiate American School at 10am.
- We run you through the process (if you've never participated before.)
- You choose an area of Dubai you would like to cover from our HUGE list.
- You take some boxes of water & facecloths and head on your way to have some HOT.SWEATY.FUN!

*If you don't have your own transport don't worry, there are often spaces in others cars for you to join in the goodness (plus you make new friends!)

DO I NEED TO REGISTER?
If you've got a group of 5 or more people coming you can register online HERE so we can get a gauge on how many people are coming.

WHO DO I GIVE THE WATER TO?
Anyone working outside in the heat - this project is not limited to labourers and if you see someone who looks like they could use a drink, a smile, and a few words, then go for it.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE ALL THE WATER OUT ON SATURDAY?
Nope. You can give the water out in your own time, just don't leave it sitting in your hot car for too long as the water can become toxic.
